The Tomco high power amplifiers are high performance, low maintenance options for replacing driver stages in very high power valve systems.

Radar Transmitters / High Power Amplifiers

Tomco Technologies offers all solid-state, high power amplifiers and transmitters developed specifically for use in radar systems.

We offer 2 main types of high power amplifiers for radar
BT amplifiers:- linear, class AB amps with no maximum pulse width or duty cycle limitations. Narrowband or broadband, up to 600MHz. The BT amplifiers are flexible designs which can be configured to suit almost all radar applications in this frequency range.

VT amplifiers:- class E products which represent the best power/price ratio for high power systems. Narrowband, operating at a fixed frequency in the range 10-55MHz. Maximum duty cycle limit of 15% and maximum pulse width limit of approximately 200us. Extensively used in ST radar applications.
