- High phase and amplitude stability (<5°, <0.5dB)
- high linearity (<+/-1.5dB typical)
- Very low interpulse noise (<10dBm above thermal)
- Clean, high fidelity pulse amplification
- Low pulse droop (<0.5dB)
RF amplifier selection chart for NMR/MRI/NQR
The models listed are our most popular standard amplifiers for NMR/MRI. Other frequency ranges are available. Click on the frequency range of interest
For NMR applications we offer high duty cycle, high pulse width systems. Duty cycles up to 100% and pulse widths up to 500ms are offered encompassing most RF amplifier requirements for NMR applications up to 600MHz. Pulse stability and droop specifications are still fully met in our higher duty cycle/higher pulse width NMR amplifiers.
For NQR we offer lower frequency (down to 10kHz), higher power systems which are suitable for explosive detection and similar applications. Our high power NQR amplifiers are well-proven, mature products with extremely high reliability.
For MRI applications we can offer peak power levels up to tens of kW. Broadband and narrow band models are available. 20% duty cycle, 10ms and 100ms pulse widths standard.
For EPR/ESR and ENDOR applications Tomco has developed a range of pulsed power amplifiers offering high peak power and ultra fast rise/fall times (typically<15ns). For more information on these products please visit our ultra-fast rise/fall time section.
The Tomco pulsed RF amplifiers for magnetic resonance can be configured as single output systems or as multi-channel systems suitable for shimming. |
